About Kallan

Senior Instructor

Kallan has been riding since she was 9. She eventually progressed to working with green horses and restarting horses. At 12, Kallan got the opportunity to restart a particularly difficult project horse. Over two years of working with her, Kallan discovered her love for training horses, putting her on a path of pursuing a career doing just that. Kallan has coached riders and worked in professional barns ranging from summer camp instruction up to management of FEI level training facilities in her home state of Colorado before making the move to Windfall Equestrian Center in 2023.

Kallan has had many amazing opportunities to work with great people and horses, including her current project, Kevin. Her goal is not only to make herself and her horses the best that they can be, but to also make the equestrian world more accessible to young riders and improving ethical standards for which we care for our equine partners.

As an instructor, Kallan is charismatic and encouraging, helping all of her riders progress towards their own personal goals. She is patient, with clear expectations and a positive attitude. Kallan’s strong emphasis on good horsemanship and safety instills great basics in all of her riders, giving them a firm foundation for upper-level work.
