Windfall Equestrian Center Kids’ Camp I

Welcome to the 2024 Windfall Equestrian Center Kids’ Camp!

This event is for the Camp #1, March 22-24, 2024

This camp is suitable for kids ages 3 to 12.  Ages 3-6 will be in one group and ages 7-12 will be in a separate group.  This camp is suitable for all horse lovers, especially those with no previous horse experience!  We want to help your child learn more about horses, and all the ways that they can experience horsemanship.  Lunch and snacks included.

5 pm-5:30 pm Introductions and Orientation
5:30 pm-6:30 pm Horse and Stable Safety
6:30-6:45 pm break and snacks
6:45pm-7:45pm Horse Identification
7:45-8 pm Wrap-up and Questions

Saturday
11 am-12pm How to care for a horse
12pm-12:15pm Assemble for lunch
12:15pm-1pm riding demonstrations and lunch
1pm-2pm tacking up your horse
2pm-4:00pm basic riding skills, crafts
4:00-4:15 break and snacks
4:15-5:00pm Games
5:00 pm-5:45 pm Caring for your horse
5:45-6pm Wrap-up and Questions

11 am-12 pm Caring for your horse
12 pm-12:30 Lunch
12:30-2:30pm basic riding skills
2:30-3:00 pm Awards and Photos

1 adult may accompany a child at no additional charge
